Section Pages > Tabber Content

Adding tabs to a page is a method of adding large amounts of information for a product or subject without making the webpage very long.

To add tabs to a page you simply enter the tab name and then the content.  Start with tab one and then add up to 4 tabs per page.

Tab Uses

The most commonly uses of tab is with product listings, but tabs can be used on any page.  Typical uses seen most often on the Internet are:

  • specifications
  • warranties
  • rebates
  • disclaimers
  • instructions

For the tab interface to appear on the page you must make use of at least 2 tabs.  If you enter content in tab 1 the content will be displayed on the page, however the tab interface will not.

Tab 1 has to contain information in order for any tabs to display.  If you enter information in tab 2, 3, or 4 without information in tab 1, none of the information will be displayed.

Tab information can be edited at any time as with all the pages in the RealTime System.
