The most important security measure you can take to protect your business's information is to make sure that you have the latest version of an anti-virus program running on your computer at all times. Also make sure that the virus definitions are kept up-to-date. There are many anti-virus programs available, we've listed a few below for your convenience. Protecting your computer does not have to be expensive. The ones below offer a free to use version. Keep in mind that the free versions don't offer the level of protection as their paid versions. Also keep in mind that you still have to be careful when downloading any type of program from the Internet. If you are not familiar with the sender of an email or the name of a company offering information DO NOT CLICK ON IT. By simply clicking on a link, picture or especially a pop up box on any unfamiliar web page you could be giving someone permission to access all of your personal information.
